Spent the last couple weekends up on the thompson , Man thats a fun river if you like Hells Canyons this is the BC's Hells Canyon .. Its 15miles of Whitewater ,, Good stuff I just wish I could find some other boats to hit the river.. My Video caught a butterfly checking out/Racing the boat didnt think they could fly that fast.. oh yea and I got some real greenroom didnt realize I have an ejector seat in the boat.. couple stiches but its was well worth it.

Nice video. Did you go through to the top?
Watching the video had me ducking. I have the same style anchor as you and I almost had it come through the windshield two weeks ago. I am getting the pin drilled in now so I don't end up with battle scars too.

Great pics and vid...holy stuff job :o ....glad to see you made it through with a :D .

I ran the Thompson in April when the water was low....I've been chomping at the bit to get up there since. I want to run it a couple times in July...perhaps to Kamloops Lake and back. I know a couple others that want to and will run too. Ideally I would like to launch in Lytton.

Where did you launch...can I launch my 28'er...is there room at the launch?

You did see Vic's 22 yesterday...we took a run to Hells Gate. We were wondering who's red HCM was crossing the Hope bridge.

Was the loud bang as the bow rises before the drop into the next wave a rock or a log hit? Or something inside the boat banging around? Sounded like the pump also cavitated? It sure sounded bad whatever it was!

I had my life jacket close as I justg took it off a couple mins before , Not any good laying on teh seat next to me though so next not taking it off,

The lytton Launch could handle a 28 footer if you can get the boat turned around in the launch area there is a fairly steep hill leading into the launch and theres not much room for turning around, But I bet you could get it done, The only other issue would be the parking , I think its a 3, maybe 4 truck and trailer parking are but there is more room on top of the hill, Lets put a run together sometime Im in ,

I dont think I hit anything other than a surge boiling wave and I hit right at the bottom. No dents in the boat and that was a loud crash ofr it just being water but thata powerful river and water can be hard..
