Ya I wasnt real pleased when they closed her down shortly after I got my boat. With that being said its been a hell of a boat. Dale and the crew did a hell of a job on her. Just realize in this economy it could be any one of those above stated manufacturers next. By the way, you forgot Riddle, one of the best! :D

Tried and True.. If it aint broke don't mess with it .. If had to do again it would be old school used and abused,I feel guilty for what my boat looks like after a couple of years. Everyone thinks its 10 years old or so.. :o

wash it regularly, dry it off after every time in the water it will stay looking good. if you feel sorry for how it looks you can change that. clean her up and dont go back to old habits.

I agree but those dents, dings and scratches just mean that you're using it the way it was intended to be used. I don't think jet boats were made to be kept pristine. I think of them as the 4X4's of the boating world and you wouldn't buy a big throbbin' Off Roader just to drive around on the pavement....

I really thought this purchase I would take care of but other than changing the oil an a little grease here and there,I have done nothing. These types of boats are truly a 4x4. I figure if all the paint is scatched off then there is nothing to buff, the decals are like a new car smell once there gone its broke in... :D

Stopped by Treasure Valley Marine last Friday. It's very obvious they put a lot of thought and detail into this build. The boat appears very well made right down to the smallest detail. Someone in this thread asked about the engine? I was told it will be the 6.2 ltr LSA Supercharged. This boat's going to rock!!!! I also had a tour of their facility and noticed they have three other boats in production. Quite impressive.

Just had to point out that my brother has 2 BWC boats and I have personally piloted one for many hours. They are built to be unsinkable which is cool and I admit that I have capsized it as a "test" but I surely wouldn't take it anywhere near a river.... BWC has been manufacturing fiberglass sail boats :boat: since 1963. They are a fun little boat to hone your sailing :boat: skills on

My friend ordered a 20' hcm custom, 6.2 supercharged lsa over 1 year ago it will be ready Dec 27, 2010, I have spoken to Ryan and some other boat manufacturers, not too interested in my business. Now Chris on the other hand is MR CUSTOMER SERVICE, that is why i ordred a 22' ultramag 6.2 supercharged 241 pump at a great price ........the other guys should be worried he will take some business from them and he builds a fine product! :rowing:

as ive recently gotten quotes from BWC and HCM im not sure where this "great" price came from cause both boats identically built hulls were within $1k from each other.

i was talking to another guy a couple weeks back and this advice goes out to all manufacturers. if you got anybody coming through your doors whether you think they are lookie loo or not, you better get back to them. i know of 2 manufacturers this person went to that didnt get back to him on a price for a boat. he ended up buying from the guys who did take him serious and returned his phone calls. it just happened to be chris at BWC though.

I had the same luck as you Colt45..........kind of weird to think they would want to miss out on a $50K sale???
