Fishing

Postby Redfish1 » Sun Apr 08, 2018 7:24 pm

I’m from Montana. My daughter is in Vet school at Pullman. I’m looking to find suggestions for places to fish around there. Love to fish for walleyes, pike, perch.
I have a 21’ Duckworth so of course I’ll hit the Snake, but also like lake fishing.
So any suggestions would be appreciated

You’d probably enjoy Rock Lake outside of St. John Washington, about an hour northwest of Pullman. It’s deep and mostly surrounded by basalt rimrock, completely undeveloped lakeshore so it’s enjoyable for the solitude. I think guys troll the middle for Browns, you can work the shorelines for perch, crappie, smallmouths. The lake is about five miles long I think, no paved launch, just back it in on the gravel.
Where in Montana you from?
