I keep haveing private messages get stuck in my outbox. Is there a way to force them to send?

It's normal, they stay there until the person you sent them to logs in and gets their messages.

What zracer said. If they are sitting in the outbox they were never read by the person you sent them to.
You should be able to go into your outbox and delete them.
