Earth Quake

Earth Quake

57 miles north of Christchurch New Zealand. The quake was in the mid sevens. Tough the last few years with another one in 2011. Hope all the Kiwi's pull thur.

Thankyou for the sentiment Eagle1, I'm sure people appreciate support. I'm personally not affected, apart from feeling the initial quake, which was felt over the length of the whole country, as I'm some distance south. It's pretty devastating for the whole top part of the south island, though mostly up the East coast.
Stories abound, and the media is full of it, but here's a link to a summary of events, that covers some of what happened. The army got through the inland road with a convoy yesterday, but it's still not open to the public, and only passable with heavy duty 4wd.
